新春系列佛事具体安排：
Buddhist Affairs Arrangement for the Spring Festival Celebration:

一、 辞旧迎新吉祥法会 The Auspicious Dharma Assembly for Ringing the Old Year out and the New Year in
1. 腊月三十辞旧（除夕） December the 30th of the lunar calendar: ringing out the old year (the Lunar New Year’s Eve)
●下午16:00，晚课带往生普佛，追荐回向，冥阳两利。 16:00 pm, the evening session with chanting sutras and Buddha’s names for the deceased ones as well as returning the merits and virtue to ghostdom and human world.
●晚上18:30，法师领众恭诵大乘经咒，增福增慧。 18:30 pm, Dharma master will lead all the participants to chant Buddhist Mahayana sutras and mantras respectfully to increase wisdom and felicity.
共修内容:《金刚经》《药师经》《佛说阿弥陀经》《普门品》《楞严咒》《大悲咒》《十小咒》《心经》《地藏经》。
Contents of Collective Practice: ‘The Diamond Sutra’, ‘The Medicine Buddha Sutra’, ‘The Amitabha Sutra’, ‘The Chapter of the Universal Gate of the Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva’, ‘The Shurangama Mantra’, ‘The Great Compassion Mantra’, ‘The Ten Small Mantras’ ‘The Heart Sutra’ and ‘The Sutra of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva 's Fundamental Vows’.

2. 大年初一迎新（弥勒菩萨圣诞） January 1st of Lunar Calendar: ring in the New Year (the holy birthday of Maitreya Bodhisattva)
●子时叩响金刚大钟，燃如意香；按照中国古老传统:迎财神、吃饺子、放烟花，红红火火、欢天喜地迎新春； Ring the Diamond bell at midnight and burn the incense of satisfaction: according to the traditional Chinese customs of old times: welcome the fortune god, eat dumplings, set off fireworks, and ring in the new spring in an enthusiastic and boisterous way;
●凌晨4:30，早课带吉祥延生普佛，消灾延寿，如意安康；4:30 in the early morning; morning session with auspicious chanting of Buddhas’ name for the benefit of living people, staving off and avoiding disasters, ensur ing satisfaction and fostering well-being;
●上午燃香礼佛、绕塔念佛、登塔祈福，祝愿国土富盛，五谷丰登，人民安乐幸福； In the morning, burn incense and pay homage to Buddhas, walk around pagoda and chant Buddha’s name, climb the pagoda and pray for blessings: make the motherland more fertile, a bountiful harvest of crops, people happy and peaceful;
●上午10:00，法师领众全堂上供，祈愿诸事吉祥。 10:00 am, Dharma master will lead the masses to lay offerings on the altar of different halls and pray for good developments and results in everything.

二、 新春祈福法华法会 The Dharma Assembly of Lotus Sutra for Blessings on the day of Spring Festival 

    大年初二至初四，法师领众恭诵《大乘妙法莲华经》，修大福慧，种成佛因。
From January 2nd until the 4th of the lunar calendar, the Dharma master will lead everyone to chant the “The Mahayana Lotus Sutra”, cultivating great wisdom and felicity as well as paving the way for enlightenment.

    大年初四下午，新春祈福法华法会圆满大回向。
In the afternoon of January 4th of the lunar calendar, the ceremony of completing the Dharma Assembly of Lotus Sutra for Spring Festival Blessings will be held to contribute to the good cause of all the beings.

三、 定光佛圣诞祝仪法会（大年初六） The Dharma Assembly in celebration of the Birthday of Dipamkara Buddha (January 6th of lunar calendar)
●上午7:00，从安上村碑三步一叩朝山； 7:00 am, Three-step-one-prostration to pay homage to the Hall of Great Buddha
●上午8:30，放生； 8:30 am, release the captive animals;
●上午9:00，定光佛圣诞祝仪法会； 9:00 am, the celebratory ceremony of the birthday of Dipamkara Buddha
●中午12:30，授三皈五戒； 12:30 at noon, the initiation ceremony of the three refuges and the five precepts;
●下午16:00，晚课带往生普佛。 16:00 pm, the evening session with chanting Buddha’s name for the benefits of the deceased ones.

四、 其他吉祥祈福佛事 Other auspicious Buddhist affairs for more blessings
1. 法会期间（腊月三十至大年初六）
During the Dharma Assembly (from December 30th to January 6th of lunar calendar)
●寺院每天朝暮课诵、三步一叩朝拜大雄宝殿，如常进行（法会、斋天、普佛等除外）；
Daily morning and evening sessions will proceed as usual in the monastery (except for Dharma Assembly, auspiciously worshiping heavenly Gods, and chanting Buddha’s name);
●除夕、大年初一、初三、初五上午，法师领众上供；
In the morning of Lunar New Year’s Eve, January 1st, 3rd and 5th in lunar calendar, Dharma master will lead participants to lay offerings;
●每晚药食之后，大众恭诵地藏经、坐禅（大年初五晚上除外，另有活动安排。）
After the remedial meal every evening, the participants will chant “The Sutra of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva 's Fundamental Vows” and practice meditation (except for the night of January 5th as there would be other arrangements)

2. 大年初四 January 4th during the Spring Festival
●晚上20:00，燃灯祈福法会，万千灯烛，火树银花，回归自性光明，照亮前程。
20:00 pm, light the lamps to start the Dharma Assembly of praying for blessings, thousands of candles and lights, fireworks and bonfires display, return to the brightness of one’s own nature and enjoy a brighter future.

3. 大年初五 January 5th during the Spring Festival
●凌晨4:30，早课斋天，纳福迎祥；
4:30 in the early morning, morning session to auspiciously worship heavenly Gods to accept the blessings and welcome the auspicious signs.
●晚上17:30，放大蒙山，冤亲离苦，阴超阳泰。
17:30 pm, the Tremendous Mengshan Ceremony to relieve and remove the sufferings of those suffered in the infernal world, to bring benefits to both the living and the deceased

4. 大年初七:早课带吉祥延生普佛，法会圆满结束。
January 7th during the Spring Festival: morning session with auspicious chanting Buddha’s name for the living, bringing a successful close to the Dharma Assembly.
